What is Landed cost?
Landed cost is the total cost of getting a product to where you sell it: product cost + freight + insurance + duties + customs and other fees.
Example
A $4.50 product can land at $6.03 per unit once freight, duty and fees are added.
Why it matters
Pricing from the supplier price alone hides 20–50% of real cost on many imported products.
