What is TACoS?
TACoS stands for Total Advertising Cost of Sales.
TACoS compares ad spend with total sales (ad-driven and organic): ad spend ÷ total sales × 100.
Example
$250 of ad spend with $5,000 total sales is a TACoS of 5%.
Why it matters
A falling TACoS while sales grow suggests ads are lifting organic sales too, not just buying them.
