What is Listing suppression?

Suppression is when a marketplace hides a listing from search because something is missing or breaks a rule — such as a title over the limit, a missing main image or a restricted claim.

Example

A title over the character limit or a missing required attribute can stop a listing appearing in search.

Why it matters

Checking listings before publishing is much faster than fixing a suppressed listing afterwards.
