What is Etsy transaction fee?
Etsy charges a 6.5% transaction fee on the item price plus the shipping and gift-wrap charges, on top of listing and payment processing fees.
Example
On a $25 item with $5 shipping, the transaction fee is $1.95.
Why it matters
Pricing shipping low doesn’t avoid the fee — it applies to whatever you charge for shipping.
