Stripe’s standard US rate is 2.9% + $0.30 for online card payments. High-volume businesses can ask Stripe for custom pricing.

Q2Does Stripe charge a monthly fee?

Standard Stripe accounts have no monthly or setup fee — you pay per successful transaction. Some products (Billing, Tax, Radar for Fraud Teams) cost extra.

Q3Are refunds free?

Stripe doesn’t charge an extra fee to refund, but the original processing fee is not returned. Disputes (chargebacks) carry a separate fee.

Q4Does this include ACH or other payment methods?

No — this calculator covers card payments. ACH, wallets and local payment methods have their own pricing on Stripe’s pricing page.
